Colombia Inga Aponte

The people of the Inga community are descendants of Pre-Hispanic Incas, largely separated from the rest of Colombia until the second half of the nineteenth century. After a hard period of forced drug production at the hands of guerrillas and drug traffickers, the Inga community has transformed into a safe haven and turned their farming efforts towards coffee. The high elevation and nutrient-rich ash of the Galeras volcano provide perfect growing conditions for this exceptional coffee.
